    The pH Solution

Kre-Alkalyn is the revolutionary new Creatine technology that is changing the way the world approaches Creatine supplementation. Kre-Alkalyn is the only Creatine that has a U.S. Patent (#6,399,661) for stability and purity.

The secret behind Kre-Alkalyn is its patented molecular buffering process. This buffering is the pH-correct technology that raises the pH level of Creatine above 12.0 where destruction into Creatinine stops.
Kre-Alkalyn owes this pure power to its patented pH-Correct technology which protects it from degrading to Creatinine.

     Kre-Alkalyn’s patent covers pH 7-14.

The research behind Kre-Alkalyn's patent shows a direct correlation between pH levels and instability. The lower the pH, the faster it converts. As pH levels raised above 7.0, the conversion slowed dramatically. Once the pH is 12.0 and above, the conversion of Creatine into Creatinine is stopped. This direct relationship is the foundation of the patent Kre-Alkalyn has received.

By synthesizing Creatine molecules with unique "buffering" agents, Kre-Alkalyn is able to reach a pH of above 12.0; making it stable in liquids.
What's more is that Kre-Alkalyn's patent covers all pH levels from 7.0-14.0. Therefore, the best way to get stable and pure Creatine is to take Kre-Alkalyn!

    Stability & Purity

Except for the patented molecular buffering technology found in Kre-Alkalyn, the manner in which this Creatine works in the body is exactly the same as it would be otherwise.

    HPLC Testing

HPLC testing stands for High Performance Liquid Chromatography testing. HPLC testing is only able to test a product in its entirety, not on a molecular level. Therefore, you will be able to find out purity and stability, but only under controlled conditions of an entire "lot" of product.
    NIR Testing

Over teh years many scientists have taken on this problem of the inherent instability of Creatine, but it wasn't until Jeff Golini tackled it that it was finally solved. To do this, he used Near Infrared Analysis (NIR) technology, something he helped bring to the Supplement and Nutraceutical industry.
NIR is one of the best testing systems due to its ability to test and certify on a molecular level. This means every single molecule of the compound in question is analyzed and "blueprinted" for further analysis. Not only is this form of testing super accurate and reliable, but it's also quick and easy to perform with 100% reproducible accuracy.

Using this NIR method, Jeff Golini decided to test Creatine not just in the bottle, but under numerous conditions. Since most Creatine experiments to this point had been performed on controlled or dry samples, Jeff Golini devised a test to see exactly what went wrong and why.

    Kre-Alkalyn Is Born
The experiment consisted of dissolving one gram of creatine in one liter of fluid, and taking NIR analyses every 15 seconds. After analyzing the data, that Jeff Golini made the conclusion that would be the birth of Kre-Alkalyn: the issue is the inherent lower pH of the substance!

Once Jeff Golini developed a method to raise the pH level of Creatine to 12, the stability issue was solved! For the record, this is not a simple "mixing" a base agent with ordinary Creatine. What Jeff Golini devised was a way to actually buffer the creatine molecularly, thereby raising the actual pH of the molecule itself.
Sometimes the most simple of things can be the most profound, and Kre-Alkalyn is a perfect example.

As mentioned before, Kre-Alkalyn is the only Creatine product to have been awarded a U.S. Patent for its manufacture and pH range.
The secret behind Kre-Alkalyn is its higher pH level. By synthesizing Creatine molecules with unique "buffering" agents through a patented manufacturing process, it produces a stable Creatine molecule.
Currently, Kre-Alkalyn has been awarded two patents internationally, with another 33 pending approval. On June 4th, 2002 Kre-Alkalyn was awarded U.S. Patent #6,399,661.

On April 7th, 2005 Kre-Alkalyn was awarded official patent #519305 by the country of New Zeland. THere are also other patents pending in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
Following, you will find the actual language of the U.S. Patent awarded to Kre-Alkalyn as filed by Jeff Golini.
